From Ranier CrossFit, My Scale Hates Me. Weight is a sensitive subject for a lot of people. Just ask Jake, he can’t seem to put enough on. Or ask any girl and she can’t seem to keep it off. At the end of the day, it boils down to your health. Are you continuing to make progress at the gym? Are you running faster? Longer? Are you lifting heavier? If the answer to any of these questions is “yes”, then I’d say you’re making good progress in becoming a healthier being.
Don’t get so caught up in the numbers on the scale or the size of your clothes. Simply remember that you’re doing things in the gym today that you couldn’t do a month ago. You are forging forward and I’ll be damned if you don’t look good doing it.
Besides, how many of you girls don’t like shopping? Think of your newly formed body as an opportunity to shop for a new wardrobe. If you don’t like shopping, then maybe we should discuss the possibility of going on a date because I’m already a little bit in love with you.
