Not everything in CrossFit is easy (none of it is easy for me). In fact, we require you to engage in many skills that require some pretty fine motor function. The time to practice these skill type movements (snatches, double unders, kipping pull-ups, etc.) is not in the middle of a workout. You should try to think of your workout as performance time where your skills are already under your belt. Many of you show up a little early to workout times, why not dedicate 5 to 10 minutes to practicing a skill? Double unders come to mind. Don’t be mad when you can’t do a movement in a workout if you haven’t put the work in on the front end!
