1. What is your goal for the Open this year?

I have 3 goals. 1.Register on time. (2) do all the work outs. (3) Beat Clark at something. (4) Beat Katie at something even with her messed up knee.

2. Why are you doing the Open?

Because I’m a sucker who is easily peer pressured to drink and exercise for “fun”.

3. First Open or done it before?

Unfortunately I have done it before.

4. Morning or Evening Wod’er?

Both, because real G’s get it in the rays of the sun or the glow of the moon.

5. Your favorite Open movement:

The first 30 seconds when the shit is over and I can lay on the ground. That’s my favorite movement. I call it the Ricky #BoyzInThaHood

1. What is your goal for the Open this year?

Goal – just finish it. Surprise + challenge myself.

2. Why are you doing the Open?

Why? Maggie talked me into it. I clicked my heels and was wearing metcons and my name was on the whiteboard. Kidding (kinda). I like a challenge and want to get to know the community at RVA better.

3. First Open or done it before?

First Open.

4. Morning or Evening Wod’er?

My schedule is a little unorthodox, so I’m all over the place.

5. Your favorite Open movement:

I actually had to ask Gerry what movements there are to choose from (see answer #3) – probably a clean?

1. What is your goal for the Open this year?

I have two goals this year first is to do as much as I can in RX. Second is to learn as much as I can so that I can make a push for Regionals next year.

2. Why are you doing the Open?

Well for the experience first and foremost, but the competitive spirit I’ve had my whole life has been on another level in CrossFit. All I want to do is compete,compete, win or lose and compete more.

4. Morning or Evening Wod’er?

Right now I’m strictly evening but after the next two months it’s full time so I can make a big push for Regionals before I turn 35.

5. Your favorite Open movement:

I would love for there to be a chipper with 95lb thrusters, pull ups, and box jump overs. Maybe deadlifts somewhere mixed in. Really I love all of them except for double unders.

1. What is your goal for the Open this year?

My goal for the open this year is to finish in the top 500 in the Mid Atlantic Region – last year I finished 947th and I feel like I’ve worked decently hard since then to improve my fitnessing.

2. Why are you doing the Open?

I’m doing the open because I love it and I hate it. I love it because it brings the CrossFit community together and you really get to see how your past year of training has paid off. I hate it because I get anxious af before the workouts.

3. First Open or done it before?

This will be my third open, the first time I did it I had done CrossFit for about 6 months and couldn’t even do double unders or string together t2b.

4. Morning or Evening Wod’er?

100% an evening wod’er because of mainly the way my schedule is set up for work and school, but also because I cannot and will not exercise at 6am.

5. Your favorite Open movement:

My favorite open movement is the one where you lay on the floor after the workout is over, and you’re not sure if you’re dead or not.
