Because sectionals is fast approaching, now is a good time to revisit and think about the term “paleo” (NOW is the time to dial in your diet, not a week before competition time). Most folks at the gym will recognize the term as that diet where you eat meat, veggies, fruit, nuts, and seeds. Basically, eat how the paleolithic man did. But think outside the box for a moment, or really, just think about how an idealized paleo-ite lived. I can tell you one thing for sure, paleo people were active all day long. They didn’t sit in front of the computer typing posts (like me) and they didn’t sit in front of the computer reading posts (like you). They ran and jumped and climbed through their day and many of our modern compatriots are missing out on this daily physical activity. If you’ve been in to the gym once or twice or three times this week, great. Just remember, you don’t get paleo strong without daily exercise (and diet).
