The clock will run continuously. Athletes can only move on to the next block if they finish the current one in the allotted time. If the athlete finishes a section early, they rest. Athletes can not move on to the next block until the appropriate time. If the athlete goes over the allowed time, they finish the current block before moving on to the next one.
