How to pick the right gym in Richmond, VA?

There are SO many choices out there when it comes to group fitness training now.

When we first started in 2007, it wasn’t that way. Frankly, we opened our doors because there were so few places to get quality group training.

I love seeing how much the fitness landscape has grown and changed since those days. CrossFit, F45, Burn Bootcamp, and so many local group training options.

The Performance classes at RVA Performance Training leverages our years of experience AND experimentation. We developed this program to help anyone who wants to feel better in their daily life. To be more confident and capable. To be stronger, better conditioned, and more resilient. And very importantly to us, to help anyone looking for a long term, manageable approach to their training (not a short term kick in the face that may just as well leave you beat up and frustrated).

-Our training is structured for long term progress. There’s always a goal, and a plan.

-Not every day is a competition. We believe that training is a part of life, but not your ENTIRE life. You shouldn’t be treating every workout like your life is on the line.

-We use a balance of strength training (and our knowledge gained in training some of the strongest athletes in America), high-intensity conditioning (through our experience as one of the first 150 gyms to affiliate with CrossFit and our experience running one of the largest fitness competition series), and purposeful accessory work (through our experience gained training some of the same people for 15+ years).

We know there’s a lot of choices out there. But if you want to see how the Performance classes at RVA Performance Training are a little different, click the red button to sign up for an Intro session and talk with one of our coaches.
